Despite the noise of the vuvuzelas in the background, I have managed to complete the Winter Edition of the Terrier Times. They were posted this morning so please let me know if yours fails to arrive.
We are busy making a couple of small changes to the website. The Terrrier Times will, in future, be put onto the page currently called News – but soon will be called Newsletters.

Hello everyone
Our Open Show on Sunday 2nd May turned out to be a wonderful day: we enjoyed perfect weather conditions and a great entry. Thank you to everyone who supported the CTC by entering our annual Non-Championship Show of 2010.
A number of lovely photos were taken on Sunday which are available in the Gallery below. Many thanks to Sue Impey, Joe Nagel and Alwine Pretorius for snapping away and capturing the magic of the day.

Our grateful thanks go to everyone who supported the club by donating raffle prizes and, especially, to Hills Pet Nutrition who sponsored all our amazing prizes. Our Committee worked hard to ensure that the day was a success. Well done to our amazing team!

The WP Bull Terrier Club and the WC Staffordshire Bull Terrier Clubs will be holding their Open Shows together with us. Exhibitors are encouraged to enter their new puppies. Hello everyone
Three things:
Firstly, I trust you have now received the Summer Edition of the Terrier Times – and that you have diarised our Annual General Meeting to be held on Saturday 27th March. We would like to start the meeting promptly at 11h30. As usual, we will have a raffle – so please bring along a little cash! It is important to note that only paid-up members will be permitted to vote at the AGM.
Secondly, I would like to remind all our members that subscriptions became due on 1st January 2010. If you have not already done so, please do so before the AGM. Please support our club by ensuring that we have a healthy bank balance to work with!
Thirdly, a little reminder to diarise our Annual Non-Championship Show to be held on Sunday 2 May at the Bellville Cricket Club. Mrs A Els (Free State) is our judge and is especially keen to have a good entry of Airedales, Scotties and Westies – so please be sure to enter!
As always, we look forward to receiving articles from you for publication in the Terrier Times. Our members enjoy reading about the litters you have had or any of your doggy news.

Your Committee is busy organising the Terrier Club’s Annual Championship Show – kindly sponsored by HILLS PET NUTRITION – which will be held at 14H30 at the Brackenfell Cricket Club on Friday 23 October. Hello everyone
I am sure that everyone who attended our Open Show on Sunday 3 May 2009 will agree that it was a really lovely event. The weather was magnificent: warm, no wind, no rain! The WP Bull Terrier Club and the W Cape Staffordshire Bull Terrier Clubs shared the day with us which ensured that we had a good entry and a festive atmosphere. Many new exhibitors entered with their new puppies – which was wonderful to see.
In the next few days, I will be putting some super photos onto our Gallery page. Many thanks to Alwine Pretorius and Sue Impey for taking so many great pictures!
